1. Test method

a. Test in a constant temperature and humidity box, temperature 23~25℃, temperature: 30~70%

4. Conclusion:

Too high storage temperature of desktop computer or notebook SSD will affect the performance, even lead to hard disk damage, so it is not worth the loss. You can try to install a heat dissipation solution for the SSD to reduce the heat on the motherboard when the large capacity SSD is running. Conventional cooling structure metal shell + silicone thermal pad is compared with the artificial graphite, the thickness of the graphite is only 0.5mm, the same as that of the silicone thermal pad, without the external metal shell, the temperature difference of the test under the same condition is ∆T/6.3℃, and the temperature difference of the test is ∆T/23℃ compared with direct heating, the temperature difference is small and the cooling effect is limited. For artificial graphite, the temperature difference of the test is ∆T/32℃ compared with direct heating , the temperature difference is large and the cooling effect is obvious, so the artificial graphite can reduce the hot spot density well and make the SSD run more stable.
