1 Double sided thermal cooling pad:


The double-sided adhesive tape is mainly because the product has no fixed device or is not convenient to fix. The double-sided back adhesive can be used to fix the radiator and stick the IC to the heat sink. There is no need to design a fixed structure.


Benefits: it can be used to fix the radiator, and there is no need to design another fixed structure.


Effect: the thermal conductivity will be worse, and the derivative coefficient will be much lower.


2 One side adhesive thermal cooling pad:


The single-sided adhesive is mainly used to facilitate the installation and bonding of thermal silicone pad. For example, the size of thermal pad used in a backlight source is 452 * 5.5mm, which is not easy to install. Therefore, the single-sided back glue is used, and the adhesive side of the thermal conductive silica gel is pasted on the PCB board and the other side is pasted on the shell.


Benefits: it can stick to the surface of the heater on one side. When the radiator or shell slides during the assembly process, the thermal silicone pad will not shift.


Effect: the thermal conductivity will be lower, but better than the effect of double-sided back effect. It is known that the thermal conductivity will be reduced no matter whether it is single-sided or double-sided.
